Figma Shooting

Assalamualaikum, peeps! Slendy here for another update!

Last Saturday afternoon (27.7.13),

We were having a Figma Photoshoot at Jubilee Park, BSB. This is the first time I have ever taken a photoshoot outdoors, mainly because I wanted to get the hang of what it is like to be a photographer since the hobby has becoming a trend, and some have managed to make a profit out of it.

The pictures I took may not have the best quality as I have just started practicing. But, I hope you like them. Let me know what you think.

And, I would like to say thank you to those who have helped me doing the photoshoot. Also, a big thank you to the figma owner, Mughni for lending his figmas. Greatly appreciated.

Assalamualaikum, peeps! Slendy here for another update!

Just a short one, though. I have been interviewed by N.E. Project regarding how I became interested in cosplay community. Please do click on this page and read how I got into it. Some answers may be funny, though. But, it wouldn't hurt to read and laugh about it. :)

SRDC Preview (13th July 2013)

Assalamualaikum, peeps!
Slendy here for another update!

Saturday, 13th July 2013...

There was a Gold & Silver Preview going on at SRDC Headquarters, presented by the our sensei, Mr. Orangeroshan. This was open for public who wish to join the SRDC family and learn how to trade differently. I wasn't actually planning to go\ there since I was working on night-shift during that time. But, since I suggested two of my friends to come for the preview and they are willing to know how trading is possible using gold and silver, I had to skip a few hours of my night-shift, cos I felt bad if I didn't come for them. Plus, they are my possible mantees if they decide to join. Of course, I informed my working partner for the matter. Heheh...

Anyway, not much to say about it. So, I will let the pictures do all the talking for me. Enjoy! :)

Keanu Reeves is back! And, happy fasting!

Hello, peeps! Slendy here bringing you another update!

As I made a research about upcoming movies to be shown at Times Cineplex, I have just discovered Keanu Reeves has a new movie coming! Not only he stars in the film, he also directed it, which marks his directorial debut.

I'm not sure about the movie's synopsis yet as it hasn't been released in cinemas. But, I have been a huge fan of Keanu Reeves ever since I can remember, mainly Bill & Ted's Duology, Speed and The Matrix Trilogy. So, I'm sure he will do great in this one. It is his own movie afterall.

I would also like to say Happy Ramadan to all my Muslim friends out there! Let us all do good deeds in this holy month and plan your Iftar wisely.

Deadpool Game Review

Hello, peeps! Slendy here for another update.

For this post, I will be reviewing about the new game I have recently bought, called Deadpool. Yep! It is true. Deadpool has his own video-game now.

Anyway, anything you need to know about Deadpool is briefly mentioned in the video-game, if you guys don't know who he really is. I'm not familiar with Deadpool myself. Even when Ryan Reynolds briefly portrayed him as the character in X-Men: Origins movie, I still didn't know his true character, until I've played this video-game.

Well, it turns out he is a part of some sort of "Project X", the same project which Wolverine gets his "adamantium" bones. And, Deadpool seems to have a healing factor from Wolverine's DNA. Therefore, he cannot die, much like Wolverine.

Regarding the gameplay, I really enjoy Deadpool's humour and gags. It shows he is just not serious into any of the stuff he is about to encounter. What's funny is that he knows that he is in the video-game. As he claimed, he "kidnapped" the crew of High Moon Studios (the developers) and forced them to make a video-game about himself. The scripts are very well written, despite Deadpool's disapproval by tearing them all apart. He even has arguments with voices from his head, which apparently, helps Deadpool to make a bridge from the toxic sewer by using word bubbles. Also, there are cameos from some of the X-Men members. Particularly, Wolverine, Psylocke, Rogue and some other girl in a tight black suit I failed to recognise. Heheh.

The battle system is more or less like the Batman video-game style, which you can make a chain combos using the melee weapons and guns to earn more money. He can evade enemies' attacks by teleport and makes deadly counter-attacks. But, what saddens the most as the game progresses through, it is getting too repetitive, staler and uninteresting. Even the boss battles are a little too easy to beat. Although, you might die if you don't know what you're doing. The camera angle is also the main issue, but it's not that irritating.

Even the upgrading system is a bit uninspiring. Sure, they are very effective when all the weapons are bought and upgraded. But, not all of them are necessary for you to progress to the final scene.

My verdict:
Overall, it is not a bad game. But, it's not entirely good too. The storyline is very good and true to its comic root. The only letdown is the repetitive gameplay, uninteresting levels (although some levels are using an 8-bit format), easy boss battles and uninspiring level-ups. I haven't finished the game yet to be honest. Even if I do, there is no reason for me to replay it. I might let the game go somehow once I've finished it and sell it online.

Rating: 6/10

Nameless Society KB Trip

23rd June 2013...

It was a day to remember. Thank you Ishi and the Prince for letting us visit to your area. Sorry Ishi for making you laughed too hard that you could not finish your meal. Hehe. :)

There was supposed to be a photoshoot during that time. But, due to unpleasant weather and some of us had to leave very early, it had to be cancelled. But, no worries. There is always next time.

A300 Done!

Assalamualaikum, peeps!

Slendy here for another update! First of all, I would like to apologise to you all not only I haven't updated my blog as of recently. Also, as you can see, I've deleted some of my posts due to various reasons.

Anyway,

Last night, I was sitting for an A300 exam which took me about 2 hours to complete all the questions given. To be honest, I'm not very good in theories. But, Alhamdulillah. I have managed to answer all of them. I may not get all the correct answers. But, at least by getting a pass is more than enough for me. Insyallah.

Also, I have managed to make a trade while sitting for the exam, which is a rare case for me. Alhamdulillah...even though I entered late, due to the exam, I've managed to harvest about 400 pips in total.

Now, I know how important it is to do back-test, as mentioned by my brother, GN14. And, it is proven after I get my win last night. The power of back-testing is beyond powerful! :)
